In honor of Suicide Prevention Month, Good Morning America featured a powerful story about a teacher who, after losing his brother to suicide, regularly checks in on the mental health of his students – making sure they are being heard and creating a safe dialogue around mental health. We are honored that our own Good Morning America interview has been featured in this article and that two of our close colleagues, Dr. Jenna Glover from the Children’s Hospital of Colorado and Gabriella Betance from The Voices of LIV, have been quoted as well!
If you or someone you know is struggling, call the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988 or text Crisis Text Line by texting “LIV” to 741-741.
