The Liv Project

The Liv Project is a creative nonprofit dedicated to breaking the silence around youth mental health and suicide prevention. Inspired by the life and story of Liv, the organization uses film, storytelling, and innovative tools to spark honest conversations, build connections, and empower young people and their communities to speak fearlessly about mental health struggles. Through programs, partnerships, and educational outreach, The Liv Project is helping to turn awareness into action and hope.

Move with us. Breathe with us. Give with us.

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month this May, we’re hosting a special online fundraiser focused on nurturing your well-being while supporting a meaningful cause.

Join us for Self Care for a Cause: Move, Breathe, Give… for Liv, a month-long series of weekly virtual experiences designed to help you explore new self-care practices or deepen the ones you already love. These sessions are great additions to your mental health toolbox, offering simple, accessible ways to care for yourself.

Each week, we’ll come together for a different activity centered around movement, mindfulness, and connection. We’ll close out the month with a powerful virtual screening of My Sister Liv, followed by a panel with Honey and Tess, creating space for reflection, conversation, and community.

Why self-care matters: Taking time to care for your mental and emotional well-being helps reduce stress, build resilience, improve mood, and strengthen your ability to show up for yourself and others. Small, consistent practices can make a meaningful difference in how we cope, connect, and navigate life.

Whether you join us for one session or all of them, you’ll be part of a collective effort to prioritize mental health and make an impact. All proceeds from this fundraiser directly support The Liv Project and its mission to create tools and programs that spark connection and fearless conversations around mental health and suicide prevention.
